Health & wellbeing software
Apps that respect privacy and survive ethics review — on-device data, research literacy, gentle UX.
The problem
Health software carries obligations most consumer apps never face: ethics committees, participant consent, data minimisation — and users who are often having a hard day when they open the app.
What we deliver
Health and wellbeing apps built privacy-first: data stays on the device by default, interfaces are calm and forgiving, and the engineering assumptions hold up when a research team or reviewer interrogates them. We've worked inside university research environments where these constraints were the product, not the fine print.
How it works
- Privacy by architecture. On-device storage and processing unless there is a reason and consent to move data.
- Gentle UX. Tone, pacing and error states designed for people under stress, not for demos.
- Review-ready documentation. Data flows you can explain to an ethics board in plain language.
