v2.0

Ground-up rebuild shipped October 2026

2,500+

Problems in the offline v2.0 bank

The problem

Mainstream LeetCode tools assume you want an account, a leaderboard and your practice data in someone else's cloud. A lot of people preparing for technical interviews want none of that — they want to check any profile, follow a few friends, and keep daily momentum without handing over an email address.

What we built

LeetCoder is a no-login, privacy-first LeetCode companion: auth-free profile viewing, real-time stats for followed users, and Home Screen widgets that keep study streaks visible. Version 2.0 — a ground-up rebuild shipped in October 2026 — added a 12-month activity heatmap, an offline bank of 2,500+ problems, daily challenges, VoiceOver and Dynamic Type support, and a proper iPad layout.

The v2.0 rebuild also directly addressed the app's one recurring review complaint: widgets not updating. Building for your users' actual feedback is the whole point of owning the product.

Engineering notes

  • Native iOS 17+ / iPadOS with an offline-first data architecture — core features work without an account and without the network.
  • Home Screen widgets backed by App Intents, designed around update reliability after the v1 complaint.
  • Accessibility shipped as a feature: VoiceOver labels and Dynamic Type support are part of the v2.0 rebuild, not a retrofit.
  • An iterate-and-reinvest cadence: Continuous releases since 2024, including a full ground-up v2.0.

Design exploration

LeetCoder's interface was also explored as a design concept with the Digital Sauce studio, published as "LeetCode, but make it design". The concept is a data-forward study companion: a profile dashboard with a solved-problems ring and difficulty tiles, an activity heatmap, topic-filtered problem lists and a question of the day. The solved gauge, Easy/Medium/Hard tiles, heatmap and daily challenge all appear in the shipped v2.0 app.
